Eight New Apple Products This Month
Apple’s March 2026 Product Run
The iPhone 17e headlines Apple’s busy March 2026 slate, with eight product reveals packed into one month. The list spans a new budget-minded iPhone, updated iPad Air, multiple M5 Macs, two Studio Displays, and a second-generation AirPods Max.
iPhone 17e Adds MagSafe and A19
Apple’s March run starts with iPhone 17e. It keeps the overall design of iPhone 16e but moves to the A19 chip, adds MagSafe compatibility for magnetic wireless charging and accessories, and switches to Apple’s second-generation C1X modem for faster 5G. Base storage also jumps to 256GB, while the U.S. starting price remains $599.
iPad Air Moves to M4
Next is iPad Air, now running the M4 chip. Apple also increased memory to 12GB, and added an N1 chip that brings Wi-Fi 7 support. Cellular models include the same C1X modem update found in iPhone 17e.
MacBook Air Gets M5 and More Base Storage
On the Mac side, MacBook Air moves to the M5 chip and now starts at 512GB of storage. Apple also raised the entry price to $1,099 after dropping the prior 256GB option. With N1 onboard, MacBook Air gains Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and it now ships with a 40W Dynamic Power Adapter rated for up to 60W.
MacBook Pro Updates: M5 Pro and M5 Max
Apple also updated the higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. Base storage doubles to 1TB, SSD speeds are listed as up to twice as fast, and battery life increases slightly. Like MacBook Air, MacBook Pro now includes the N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
Studio Display and Studio Display XDR
For displays, Studio Display adds Thunderbolt 5, improved speakers, and a camera update that supports Desk View. Alongside it, Apple introduced Studio Display XDR, which includes those same changes plus a 120Hz refresh rate, mini-LED backlighting, and higher brightness.
MacBook Neo Targets the Entry Tier
Apple’s surprise value play is MacBook Neo. It starts at $599 in the U.S. (or $499 for college students), comes in multiple colors, runs an A18 Pro chip, and pairs a 13-inch display with up to 512GB of storage. Memory is fixed at 8GB, so configuration choices appear limited compared to the rest of the lineup.
AirPods Max 2 Brings H2 Features
Finally, AirPods Max 2 bring Apple’s H2 chip to the over-ear line. Apple lists improved active noise cancellation and sound quality, plus feature additions like Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, Live Translation, and a Camera Remote function via the Digital Crown. Apple is set to begin accepting pre-orders on March 25, with availability expected in early April.
Where This Leaves Buyers
If you’re weighing where iPhone 17e sits versus pricier options like iPhone 17 Pro Max, or even other flagship names buyers cross-shop such as Galaxy S26 Ultra and Pixel 10 Pro, wireless charging behavior and MagSafe compatibility are now part of the baseline iPhone conversation.
