Honor Win Pad Launches With 240Hz Display and 10,000mAh Battery
The Honor Win Pad is Honor's first gaming tablet, launching in China on October 21 alongside the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 phones. It pairs an 8.4-inch OLED display running at up to 240Hz with a 15,000rpm turbo fan built into the chassis, a combination aimed squarely at mobile gamers rather than everyday tablet buyers.
A 240Hz display across three modes
The panel runs 2304 x 1440 resolution at 324 PPI, with native support for 240Hz, 185Hz, and 165Hz refresh rates depending on the game, and Honor says more than 40 titles already support the top rate. Peak brightness reaches 6,000 nits, and the screen-to-body ratio is rated at 93%.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with active cooling
Honor built the Win Pad around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, backed by a 15,000rpm turbo fan that the company says lowers internal temperature by up to 8°C during extended sessions. A "Full Throttle" performance mode adds an extra clock boost when needed.
Battery and charging
A 10,000mAh battery powers the tablet, with 66W fast charging and 27W reverse charging. Honor also built in separate charging and discharging paths, so the tablet can charge while powering a connected accessory without slowing down.
Feedback built for games
Dual X-axis linear motors deliver haptic feedback tuned for racing and shooter titles, while Honor's "Geek Center" software lets players save refresh rate, memory allocation, and battery protection settings as individual game profiles.
Software
The Win Pad ships with MagicOS 11 built on Android 17, matching the software on the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 phones launched the same day.
A tablet built around the Win phones
Honor launched the Win Pad alongside the Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 phones rather than on its own, and the lineup shares design language: a matte frame, an internal cooling fan, and the same MagicOS 11 software. Honor is positioning the Win Pad as a companion screen for players who want a bigger display for the same mobile titles, rather than a general-purpose productivity tablet.
Pricing in China
Honor priced the Win Pad at 4,499 yuan (about $673) for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and 5,499 yuan (about $823) for 16GB and 512GB. With limited-time national subsidies, those prices drop to roughly 3,699 yuan (about $553) and 4,699 yuan (about $703). Honor has not confirmed pricing or availability outside China.
