Artikel: Blackberry-esque Kickstarter raised $2.1M

Blackberry-esque Kickstarter raised $2.1M

The Titan 2 Elite puts a BlackBerry-style QWERTY keyboard under a small AMOLED screen, aiming at people who still prefer physical keys for daily typing.

Unihertz launched the Titan 2 Elite (and a higher-spec Titan 2 Elite Pro) on Kickstarter with a $100,000 goal, and the campaign quickly passed $2.1 million with more than 4,500 backers at the time of writing.

Keyboard-first features that matter

The main idea is speed and control. The backlit A–Z keyboard supports custom short-press and long-press shortcuts for apps and editing, and it can also be used for scrolling and pointer control. There’s also a programmable side button that can open any app with a single press.

Pricing and estimated ship dates

Kickstarter pricing lists the standard Titan 2 Elite at $396 (listed as discounted from $489), with an estimated ship date of June 2026. The Titan 2 Elite Pro is listed at $486 (full price $579) with an estimated delivery of October 2026. Shipping to the US is listed as an extra $10.

Core specs in plain terms

Both models share the same display size and most headline features: a 4.03-inch AMOLED screen, a 4,050 mAh battery capacity, 5G coverage, Bluetooth 6.0, fingerprint and face unlock, dual physical SIM support plus eSIM, and microSD expansion (up to 2TB if you swap a SIM slot). They’re also set to ship with Android 16 and are described as getting five years of updates and security patches through 2031.

Where the Pro version differs

The split is mostly performance and storage. The standard model is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The Pro version is listed with a Dimensity 8400 and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.

Camera expectations

Unihertz highlights a 32-megapixel front camera and 50-megapixel rear camera hardware on the Titan 2 Elite line. If you care most about camera module size and computational processing, flagships like the Galaxy S26 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and Pixel 10 Pro will still be the main picks for most buyers. This keyboard phone is built around typing, not camera leadership.

Charging and daily carry considerations

If you depend on MagSafe compatibility or fast wireless charging routines, confirm those details before treating the Titan 2 Elite as a daily driver. A keyboard-focused Android device can be a strong second phone for messaging and email, while a primary flagship keeps the high-end camera stack, higher display refresh rate, and broader accessory support.
