Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Launches in Australia: Price, Colors, Specs

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is now on sale in Australia alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8, capping a global rollout that started with US and European availability earlier this month. Availability and pricing
The Galaxy Z Fold8 went on sale in the US on August 5 at $1,900 for the 256GB model, with the Galaxy Z Flip8 following on August 7 starting at $1,199 for the 12GB/256GB version, $100 more than its predecessor. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra starts higher, from $2,099 in the US and £1,899 in the UK. Australian pre-orders opened July 23 ahead of general availability on August 14.

A wider foldable form factor
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is Samsung's first wide-screen foldable, trading the tall and narrow shape of earlier Fold models for a body that is shorter and wider when open. Samsung says the change makes the phone easier to use one-handed and closer to a standard tablet aspect ratio when unfolded.
