CMF Buds Neo Bring ANC and 52-Hour Battery for $20

CMF, Nothing's budget-focused sub-brand, has launched the CMF Buds Neo in India with up to 35 dB of active noise cancellation and a claimed 52 hours of total battery life, all at a launch price of roughly $20. The earbuds go on sale August 26 through Flipkart and retail partners including Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales.

Pricing and availability
The CMF Buds Neo carry an introductory price of ₹1,999, about $20 USD, in India. CMF hasn't announced US or UK pricing yet, so buyers outside India will need to wait for a wider rollout before picking up a pair.

Up to 35 dB of adaptive noise cancellation
The earbuds support three selectable ANC levels plus an Adaptive ANC mode rated at up to 35 dB. CMF frames the feature as a way to cut background noise on commutes and in shared workspaces, though real-world results will depend on ear-tip fit and surroundings.

A 12.4mm driver with app-based tuning
Each earbud houses a 12.4mm dynamic driver with a titanium-coated PET dome and a PEEK-plus-PU surround. The Nothing X companion app adds Custom EQ, two levels of Bass Enhancement, and six built-in EQ presets alongside static spatial audio support.

Battery life comes with a catch
CMF rates the Buds Neo for up to 11 hours of playback with ANC off, stretching to 52 hours total with the charging case. Turning ANC on cuts that to 8 hours from the earbuds and 30 hours total with the case. A 10-minute USB-C charge adds up to 5.5 hours of listening time with ANC off.

Dual-device pairing and a low-latency gaming mode
The Buds Neo run on Bluetooth 6.0 and support dual-device connectivity, so they can stay linked to a laptop and phone at the same time. Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and a 120ms low-latency gaming mode round out the feature list, and the earbuds work with Android 6.0 or newer and iOS 13 or newer.

CMF is positioning the Buds Neo as an entry point into its ecosystem rather than a flagship pair, aiming the combination of ANC, long claimed battery life, and app support at students, commuters, and anyone who doesn't want to spend much beyond entry-level pricing.
