Article: Meta Plus Subscriptions Expand Worldwide

Meta Plus Subscriptions Expand Worldwide

Meta Plus subscriptions are rolling out worldwide with paid plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

The new plans add optional paid features across Meta apps. They do not replace the standard free versions of Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp, but they give subscribers added controls for profiles, Stories, reactions, and app customization.

Instagram Plus Adds Story And Profile Tools

Instagram Plus is priced at $3.99 per month. The plan adds Story viewer search, Story rewatch counts, and support for unlimited audience lists beyond Close Friends.

Subscribers can spotlight one Story each week for added visibility, use animated Super Heart reactions, set custom app icons, and add custom fonts to their profile bio.

The plan also allows Stories to stay live beyond 24 hours. Users can post directly to their profiles without placing the post in followers’ feeds, and they can preview Stories without appearing in the viewer list.

Facebook Plus Shares Similar Features

Facebook Plus is also priced at $3.99 per month. It includes many of the same paid social features as Instagram Plus, focused on profile customization, reactions, and audience tools.

The plan is designed for users who want more control over how posts and profile content appear inside Facebook.

WhatsApp Plus Focuses On Customization

WhatsApp Plus is priced at $2.99 per month. It adds app themes, custom ringtones, more pinned chats, list customization, and premium stickers.

These features focus on daily messaging controls rather than public profile tools.

Meta One Combines Paid Services

Meta is placing the new subscription products under the Meta One brand. The goal is to group paid services across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Meta AI, and business tools.

Meta One Plus costs $7.99 per month, while Meta One Premium costs $19.99 per month. Both plans are aimed at Meta AI users and include higher compute access, reasoning, and image or video generation. Premium offers more capacity for complex tasks.

Creator And Business Plans Are Coming

Meta One Essential costs $14.99 per month and is aimed at creators and businesses. It includes a verified badge, impersonation protection, better analytics, and a linksheet for connecting web and social profiles.

Meta One Advanced costs $49.99 per month. It adds feed features, scheduling tools, alerts when others reuse creator content, higher placement in Instagram and Facebook search, a stronger Follow button on Reels, and automatic follow invitations for people who engage with a creator or brand.

Testing Starts In Selected Markets

Meta plans to test the AI-focused Meta One plans in Singapore, Guatemala, and Bolivia next month.

The creator and business plans are expected to begin testing in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Thailand, and Bangladesh later this week.

What This Means For Users

The Meta Plus subscriptions show a wider shift toward paid social app features. Instead of charging for basic access, Meta is charging for added visibility tools, customization, analytics, and AI capacity.

For regular users, Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus are the most direct changes. For creators, brands, and businesses, Meta One may become more important if search placement, analytics, and account protection become part of daily platform strategy.

Meta Plus subscriptions also show how major apps are turning optional software features into monthly services. For practical phone and lifestyle accessories that fit daily app use, visit Komodoty at https://komodoty.com/collections/alternative-accessories.
