Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: Leaked Specs Ahead of August 27 Launch Event

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is set to make its official debut at a Galaxy event Samsung has confirmed for August 27, 2026, and a wave of pre-launch leaks now points to most of its core specs.

The August 27 event
Samsung has confirmed the date but has not yet named the phone or shared official specifications, describing it only as the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family. The event livestreams on Samsung's website and YouTube channel, and follows the pattern Samsung has used for past FE-series reveals.

Display
Leaks point to a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and claimed peak brightness of 1,900 nits, in line with recent FE-series phones and a step up from the outdoor visibility of the Galaxy S25 FE.

Processor and memory
The Galaxy S26 FE is reported to run on Samsung's own 3nm Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM depending on configuration, rather than a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.

Battery and charging
A 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging is expected, a modest step up from the battery capacity in the previous Galaxy S25 FE, though still behind Samsung's flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Camera
Camera hardware appears to carry over from earlier FE models: a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and an 8-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom, the same sensor combination used in the S24 FE and S25 FE.

Design and software
Reports describe a raised camera island, an IP68 rating, and color options referred to in leaks as Blueberry, Pistachio, and Graphite. The phone is expected to ship with One UI 9.0 on Android 17, alongside Samsung's usual promise of seven years of OS updates.

Pricing
European pricing has leaked at roughly €799 for 128GB, €899 for 256GB, and €1,099 for 512GB, though Samsung has not confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE name, specs, or price in any market ahead of the event. US and other regional pricing should follow once the phone is official.

How it fits the FE lineup
The Fan Edition line has become Samsung's way of bringing flagship-adjacent hardware to a lower price than the numbered Galaxy S26 series, and the S26 FE looks set to continue that role by trimming the chipset and camera array while keeping the display size and battery close to the standard model.

Protect the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE with a Komodoty case
Whatever its final specs, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will need a case ready on day one. Komodoty makes cases for Samsung Galaxy phones in slim wood with a Kevlar core, aramid fiber, and Alcantara, cut precisely around the camera island and compatible with wireless charging. Browse the fitted options in the Komodoty Samsung Galaxy cases collection.
