Fairphone Gen 6+ Launches in the US at $649 With Repairable Design

Fairphone Gen 6+ has launched in the United States for $649, marking the first time the Dutch brand's phones are sold directly to American buyers without going through a third-party partner. Everyday specs
Inside is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with microSD expansion for more space. The 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and sits just above FHD+ resolution, so day-to-day scrolling and video should feel smooth despite the phone's mid-range chipset.

Software support
The Fairphone Gen 6+ ships with Android 16 and Fairphone has committed to OS updates through 2032, a support window that stretches well beyond what most Android phones offer at launch.
