Komodoty began in 2019 with a simple observation: the devices we use every hour of every day had become cold and industrial. We wanted to bring warmth and texture back to the palm of your hand.
What started as a small project to create the perfect sustainable wood phone case has grown into a global mission. Today, we design premium carry essentials for those who value both technical precision and the raw beauty of natural materials.

- Signature Wood: The foundation of Komodoty. We source sustainable hardwoods to showcase the raw, organic beauty of the grain. Because no two trees are identical, every wood case is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that develops its own character over time.
- Italian Alcantara®: Sourced from Italy, this carbon-neutral material offers the soft, suede-like feel of luxury automotive interiors. It is remarkably durable, easy to maintain, and provides a sophisticated, non-slip grip.
- Aerospace-Grade Aramid: For those who require maximum protection without the bulk. Five times stronger than steel yet incredibly lightweight, our Aramid Fiber cases offer a technical, minimalist aesthetic with industrial-strength resilience.

Our History
A Natural Beginning
Komodoty was founded with a singular vision: to replace industrial plastic with the warmth of natural materials. We debuted our signature Slim Wood Case, a design that remains our most iconic bestseller today. While it began with the iPhone 11, it set the standard for every product that followed: minimal, professional, and unique by nature.

Rooted in Responsibility
Design should never come at the cost of the planet. In 2020, we solidified our commitment to restoration by partnering with OneTreePlanted. Our very first batch of trees were dedicated to the reforestation of Australia following the devastating bushfires, beginning a permanent pledge to plant one tree for every order placed.

Modern Performance
As we looked to the future, we began exploring materials that balanced technical performance with responsible manufacturing. We introduced aerospace-grade Aramid Fiber and Italian Alcantara® to our collections. While man-made, these materials were chosen for their uncompromising durability and in the case of Alcantara, its certified carbon-neutral footprint.
Fun Fact: Alcantara® is the same high-grip material used in the cockpits of Formula 1 cars and luxury supercars. It’s built to feel premium even under high pressure.
Expanding the Ecosystem
Recognizing that the modern professional needs protection for their entire toolkit, we launched our first collections for MacBook and iPad. We brought the strength of Aramid Fiber and the luxury of Alcantara® to these larger devices, offering a sleek, high-performance alternative to traditional tech sleeves.
Fun Fact: Our Aramid Fiber is 5x stronger than steel but thinner than a credit card - providing "bulletproof" grade protection without adding bulk to your MacBook or iPad.
