Google Pixel 11 Pro Launches at $1,099 With New Pixel Glow Camera Bar

The Google Pixel 11 Pro is now official, with Google showing off the phone at its Made by Google event on August 12, 2026 before US sales began on August 20 at a starting price of $1,099.

Price and availability
The Google Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099 in the US and €1,199 in Europe for the base configuration, which pairs 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. A larger Pixel 11 Pro XL and a foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold launched alongside it at higher price points.

A new Tensor G6 chip
Power comes from Google's Tensor G6, built on a 3nm process rather than the 2nm node some early reports expected, alongside a new modem meant to fix the connectivity issues that have followed past Pixel phones. Google says the pairing improves signal stability in low-coverage areas and reduces battery drain during calls.

Pixel Glow on the camera bar
The most visible design change is Pixel Glow, an RGB LED strip built into the camera bar that lights up as a notification indicator and shows when Gemini is listening or responding. It sits next to the flash and is the first hardware change of its kind on a Pixel phone.

Camera hardware
The rear system pairs a 50-megapixel main sensor with a 48-megapixel ultrawide and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto capable of 5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital Pro Zoom. The front camera moves up to 42 megapixels for selfies and video calls, a jump from prior Pixel Pro models.

Display
The Pixel 11 Pro carries a brighter OLED panel than last year's Pixel 9 Pro, with Google citing improved outdoor visibility as one of the more practical upgrades for daily use.

Battery and charging
Google says the Pixel 11 Pro reaches 75 percent charge in about 30 minutes on a wired charger, and the phone carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Software
The Pixel 11 Pro ships with Android 17 and Google's Gemini features built into the camera app, call screening, and system search, continuing the AI-first direction of past Pixel releases. Google has committed to seven years of OS and security updates for the phone.

Protect the Google Pixel 11 Pro with a Komodoty case
A phone built around a redesigned camera bar and a $1,099 price tag deserves a case that fits it exactly. Komodoty makes cases for the Pixel lineup in slim wood with a Kevlar core, aramid fiber, and Alcantara, each cut precisely around the camera array and compatible with wireless charging. See the fitted options for the Google Pixel 11 Pro in the Komodoty Pixel cases collection.
