Huawei Watch GT 7 Launches Globally With 21-Day Battery Life

The Huawei Watch GT 7 has arrived globally, headlining Huawei's September 2 "Chase the Wild" launch event in Munich after debuting in China earlier this summer. The smartwatch pairs a bright display with battery life long enough to skip nightly charging.

Two sizes, one bright display
The Huawei Watch GT 7 comes in 41mm and 46mm cases, both with AMOLED displays rated at 3,000 nits of peak brightness, making the screen easy to read in direct sunlight.

Battery life built for travel
Huawei rates the Watch GT 7 for up to 21 days of battery life on a single charge, a figure aimed squarely at buyers tired of daily charging routines on other smartwatches.

A titanium Pro model
The Watch GT 7 Pro steps up to a titanium case with sapphire glass, adds an ECG sensor for heart health tracking, and is rated water resistant to 40 meters, enough for recreational free diving.

Sports tracking for over 110 activities
The Watch GT 7 supports more than 110 sport modes, including a new Pro Ski mode that graphs slope data and measures G-forces during runs.

Pricing
In China, the 41mm Watch GT 7 launched at 1,588 yuan (about €199), the 46mm model at 1,688 yuan (about €215), and the titanium Pro model at 2,688 yuan (about €345). Global pricing for the Munich launch markets should track close to these figures once confirmed locally.

Part of a bigger launch
The Watch GT 7 wasn't the only device on stage in Munich. Huawei used the same "Chase the Wild" event to introduce the Nova 16s Pro camera phone, the MatePad Pro 12 tablet, and the FreeBuds Neo earbuds, positioning the watch as the centerpiece of a broader push into wearables, audio, and productivity hardware for European and other global markets.

Who it's for
The standard Watch GT 7 targets buyers who want long battery life and a bright, legible display for daily wear, while the titanium Pro model is aimed at more serious athletes and divers who need the added durability and the ECG sensor. Both sizes share the same core software and sport-tracking feature set, so the choice mostly comes down to case size, materials, and budget.

Match the Huawei Watch GT 7 with a Komodoty band
A watch built for daily wear and long trips benefits from a band that can keep up. Komodoty offers alternative smartwatch bands in materials like Alcantara and aramid fiber, with the fit and durability to pair well with the Huawei Watch GT 7. Browse the options in the Komodoty smartwatch bands collection.
