Pixel Watch 4 LTE Drops to $299 at Best Buy: Price and Specs

The Pixel Watch 4 has dropped to $299 for the 45mm LTE model at Best Buy, a discount from Google's $449 price for that configuration. The deal applies to Google's newest smartwatch just weeks after its October 9 release, making it one of the first notable markdowns on the line.

The Best Buy price
Best Buy is selling the 45mm Pixel Watch 4 LTE for $299, a $150 cut from its $449 list price. Stock has been limited on some finishes, so availability can shift by color and band combination.

What powers the Pixel Watch 4
Inside is a dual-chip setup pairing a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor with a Cortex-M55 co-processor for lighter background tasks, running Wear OS 6 with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Battery and charging
Google rates the 45mm model's 455mAh battery at up to 40 hours with the always-on display active, or up to three days in battery saver mode. A fast charge takes the watch from 0 to 50% in about 15 minutes, with a full charge in roughly an hour.

Health and GPS upgrades
The Pixel Watch 4 adds a next-generation skin temperature sensor and dual-band GPS, a first for a Google watch, alongside AI-based background activity tracking. Google also includes satellite emergency messaging on LTE models sold in the US.

Display and durability
The watch uses a domed "Actua 360" display under custom Gorilla Glass 5, with a bezel Google says is 16% smaller than the previous generation and peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It carries a 5 ATM and IP68 rating for water resistance, and Google designed the battery and display to be replaceable.

Who should consider the deal
At $299, the 45mm Pixel Watch 4 LTE undercuts its $449 list price by roughly a third, making this one of the more direct ways to get LTE connectivity and the watch's new health sensors without paying full price so soon after launch.

LTE versus Wi-Fi models
Google also sells the Pixel Watch 4 in Wi-Fi-only configurations at a lower starting price, which track a phone's connection instead of carrying their own cellular plan. The LTE version at the center of this deal can place calls, send messages, and reach satellite emergency messaging in the US even when a paired phone is out of range, which is the main reason buyers pay more for it.

What's included in the box
The watch ships with a band in the chosen size and finish, along with a charging puck and cable. Google sells additional bands separately, so buyers who want a different look or material for the office, workouts, or dressier occasions typically pick those up after the initial purchase.
