Our Komodo Slim Wood iPhone Case is crafted from genuine FSC-certified sustainable wood and precisely sanded to a smooth, tactile finish, highlighting the natural grain of the wood. Each case showcases unique wood patterns, providing a distinct and visually appealing touch to your iPhone.

Kelvar Reinforced
We use high-pressure hot pressing to bond an aramid (Kevlar®) core between two thin layers of genuine wood. This construction improves structural rigidity and impact resistance while keeping the case slim and lightweight.
A raised camera surround helps shield the lenses from surface scratches and minor knocks during everyday handling.
Note: there is no raised camera lip for iPhone 17e/16e models.

Why Are There Creases?
Each case has 2 pieces of ultra-thin FSC-certified wood. Unlike synthetic materials, wood lacks flexibility, so to achieve a form-fitting shape, the wood layers must be carefully molded around the phone's contours.
This process requires precise folding and reinforcement, which can naturally result in subtle creases at the curved edges. These are not defects but a hallmark of true craftsmanship. The structural integrity remains uncompromised, ensuring a perfect blend of natural aesthetics and lightweight protection.

Yes. All Komodo cases are compatible with MagSafe & Qi wireless chargers.
Please note our cases do not have magnets built in, as such the strength of the magnet is reduced. Other MagSafe accessories such as wallets and car mounts are not compatible.
Yes. Our cases are made with 100% real wood and Kevlar. Each case boasts a slender profile at just 0.8mm in thickness, comprised of two layers of wood (0.2mm each) with a central layer of Kevlar. The Kevlar layer not only provides protection but also ensures the case maintains a robust and rigid form without compromising the slim appearance. These layers are moulded together along with stabilising layers of non-woven fabric and resin, through our hot pressing technology. Each case is then sanded and finished by hand with wood wax oil and varnish, presenting an extremely smooth surface that retains the natural woodgrain.
While the Slim Wood iPhone Case features slightly raised corners, it does not provide full front-screen protection. This case is designed for a slim, tight fit, prioritizing aesthetics and light-to-medium protection. If you’re concerned about dropping your phone face-down, we highly recommend pairing this case with a screen protector for added security.
The texture of the wood means that when the corners are rounded during our hot pressing process, wrinkles will form. This is normal when working with natural materials and is not a sign of a defective product. The density of each wood also varies and greatly affects how pronounced the wrinkles appear. Each case is unique with colour, grain and wrinkles. Meaning, none of our cases are perfect, but that's what we believe makes them beautiful and unique.
Each case is finished by hand, firstly with a layer of wood wax oil followed by varnish. This protects against day to day humidity and spills etc. Issues such as mildew only occur if stored in a wet place over an extended period of time.

Komodoty Apple iPhone cases are designed to fit original authentic charging cables from the device brand, such as official Apple cables (e.g. USB-C or Lightning). Some third-party cables have thicker connector housings, reinforced ends, or extra casing around the plug. These may not fit correctly through the charging port opening while the case is installed. For best fit, we recommend using the original charging cable supplied by Apple. Compatibility with third-party cables cannot be guaranteed due to variation in connector size and shape.
