5 Flagship Phones to Watch in Late 2025 from Apple, Samsung, Google, Nothing, and Poco
As we reach the midpoint of 2025, most major phone brands have already released their main devices for the year. Still, several highly anticipated flagship models are on the way from Apple, Google, Samsung, Nothing, and Poco. Here’s a roundup of the five most notable devices to look out for in the second half of the year.
Nothing Phone 3
Set for release on July 1, the Nothing Phone 3 marks the brand’s first proper entry into the flagship segment. The company has confirmed it will drop the Glyph interface, suggesting a shift in design language. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Reports suggest up to 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, a 5,000mAh (possibly silicon-carbon) battery, and wireless charging. The phone will likely include a triple-lens rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, ultrawide, and telephoto options. It will ship with Nothing OS 3, based on Android 15, and is expected to be priced around £800.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7
Samsung is preparing to update its book-style foldable with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which may include an 8.2-inch AMOLED main screen and a 6.5-inch cover display. It’s rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and a 200MP primary camera. While the "Ultra" branding may not apply to a separate model, it could indicate a more premium feature set within the standard Fold 7. Samsung is also aiming for a lighter, more compact design. An official launch is expected during the company’s summer Galaxy Unpacked event in July or August.
Poco F7
Poco’s upcoming F7 may be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. If that’s accurate, expect a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a 6.83-inch flat LTPO AMOLED display (120Hz), and HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The device may include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with an 8MP ultrawide lens, up to 16GB RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Known for high performance at a mid-range price, the Poco F7 is likely to launch between ₹30,000 and ₹35,000.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max
Apple’s iPhone 17 series is expected to show a notable design shift. Renders suggest a wide camera island spanning the top rear with all three sensors grouped to the left. The Pro and Pro Max models may run on the new A19 Pro chip and introduce a 48MP telephoto lens. If Apple maintains its annual cycle, the iPhone 17 lineup will arrive in September, possibly with more aggressive changes than seen in the iPhone 16.
Google Pixel 10 Series
The Pixel 10 series will likely debut in October. This year, Google transitions from Samsung to TSMC for its Tensor G5 chip, which may significantly boost efficiency and thermal performance. The design will stay close to the Pixel 9, but new colours are expected. The base model might finally include a telephoto lens. Google is expected to launch four models: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Pricing will mostly stay in line with the Pixel 9 range, except for the Pro XL, which may cost $100 more. The Fold variant could launch at around $1,600.
