Article: OmniGrip Accessory Combines Phone Stand, Tripod, and Grip for $37

OmniGrip Accessory Combines Phone Stand, Tripod, and Grip for $37

The OmniGrip, a new phone accessory from A-Tech, folds a kickstand, a mini tripod, and a handheld grip into one small aluminum body. It is built for anyone tired of carrying three separate accessories to prop up, steady, or hold onto their phone for photos and video.

What the OmniGrip is

The OmniGrip is a compact, foldable accessory made from aluminum alloy with silicone and TPU elements. It measures about 3.82 by 2.28 inches and weighs 68.5 grams, small enough to drop into a pocket or bag rather than a camera case.

Magnetic, MagSafe-style attachment

The accessory connects magnetically, so it is compatible with MagSafe-style phones and cases out of the box. Phones or cases without magnetic support need a magnetic ring or adapter case first, so it's worth checking compatibility before buying.

Three modes in one accessory

Stand mode

Set flat, the OmniGrip props a phone up at an adjustable angle in either portrait or landscape orientation, which covers video calls, following a recipe on screen, or watching something at a desk without holding the phone the whole time.

Mini tripod mode

Unfolded further, three adjustable legs with silicone feet turn the OmniGrip into a small tripod for group photos, time-lapses, or stationary video. It is built for everyday shooting rather than professional setups, but it covers the moments a phone's built-in stand or a flat surface can't.

Handheld grip mode

Folded 180 degrees, the stand becomes a handle, giving the phone a steadier hold for selfies or video shot while moving. That third mode is what separates the OmniGrip from a basic phone stand or a simple pop-up grip.

Price

A-Tech prices the OmniGrip starting at $37. The company hasn't said where or when it will be available more broadly, so interested buyers should watch for a wider retail release.

Why a 3-in-1 design makes sense

Most phone users already own some combination of a stand, a tripod, and a grip, usually bought separately and often left at home because carrying all three is impractical. Folding the functions into one small, pocketable piece means the accessory that actually gets used is the one within reach, rather than the one sitting in a drawer.

Who it's built for

The OmniGrip is aimed at everyday content creators rather than professionals: people recording short clips for social media, joining video calls from odd angles, or taking group photos on a trip without asking a stranger to hold the phone. Its small size and light weight make it an easy addition to a bag or pocket without adding noticeable bulk.

Pair it with a magnetic Komodoty case

A magnetic accessory like the OmniGrip only works as well as the case it's attached to. Komodoty's magnetic cases and wallets are built with precise cutouts and strong magnetic alignment, in materials like aramid fiber, slim wood, and Alcantara, so accessories like this one snap on securely.
