Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: Price, Release Date, and Full Specs

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has officially arrived, bringing the Fan Edition line a new chipset and a full One UI 9 experience out of the box. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26 FE on August 27, 2026, with US pricing starting at $699.99 and sales opening September 4, positioning the phone as the budget-friendly route into this year's Galaxy S26 hardware.

A new Exynos chipset across every market
Unlike some past Galaxy phones split between Snapdragon and Exynos silicon by region, the Galaxy S26 FE ships everywhere with the same Exynos 2500 chip. Samsung says it delivers 15% higher big-core CPU performance and 39% better on-device AI performance than the Exynos 2400 used in last year's Galaxy S25 FE, closing some of the gap with the pricier Galaxy S26 models.

Display and build
The Galaxy S26 FE keeps a 6.7-inch flat Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at 1,080 x 2,340px resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ and set in an aluminum frame. It comes in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio colorways, giving buyers a bit more personality than the usual black-and-silver Galaxy lineup.

Cameras
Around back sits a triple camera system: a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP telephoto lens, paired with a 12MP front camera for selfies and video calls. That's a modest but familiar setup for the FE line, aimed at everyday shooting rather than chasing flagship-grade zoom.

Battery and charging
A 4,900mAh battery powers the phone, with 45W wired charging plus wireless and reverse wireless charging support. The Galaxy S26 FE also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking.

Pricing and availability
In the US, the Galaxy S26 FE starts at $699.99 for the base configuration. European pricing starts at 799 euros for the 128GB model, 899 euros for 256GB, and 1,099 euros for 512GB. Select carriers get it a day early on September 3, with wider retail availability from September 4.

Software and updates
The Galaxy S26 FE is the first phone in its series to launch running One UI 9 rather than waiting for a later software update, giving Fan Edition buyers Samsung's newest interface and AI features from the moment it ships.

Who it's for
The Galaxy S26 FE is aimed at buyers who want most of the current Galaxy S26 experience, including the display quality, camera setup, and updated chipset, without paying flagship prices for the standard or Ultra models.
